    Night Guard Grips

For a carry gun in 10mm, +1 to BubbaBlades' recommendation. An N-frame doesn't fit in most pockets, so you're going to appreciate the additional pinky grip/control over the Eagle Secret Service grips (which I love on two snubbies).

what are they using for rear sights these days

For pinned front sight models, XS makes a great white-outlined-Tritium Standard Dot drop-in. Additionally you can U-notch (expand) the adjustable rear or consider Cylinder & Slide's aftermarket U-notched combat rear which fits all adjustble rear taps. With "silver highlights" finding their way...

    396NG Improved

Just before Thanksgiving I had snagged a 396NG that had been sitting neglected and now discontinued (and repeatedly whispering my name) on a local dealers shelf for well over a year for pre-Xmas $735 OTD. I finally found stock of Hogue's Bantam Monogrip to (at least temporarily) address the...

    snubby fever

Congrats. The 940 is pretty much ballistically considered one of the Holy Grail of J-frame snubbies!

    I Found One!

As a matter of fact, I just handled/fondled the .44Mag/629 version of that this afternoon at a local dealer. Beautiful PC action/trigger and full-length ejector rod but I agree the wood grips, though very flat thickness-wise, need at least a 1/2 groove for the added pinky control. And, while...

    Thunder Ranch 325

As with the M&P340, the SS cylinder is a durable improvement over Ti unit for cleaning/maintenance. Balance and PC-trigger on my 325-TR is awesome. Only wish it was as conveniently smaller as my recent 396NG with the same great XS/C&S sights!

    696 Questions

Recently picked up a 396-NG, 2-1/2" barrel 24-oz scandium L-frame with great XS Std Dot front and C&S U-notched combat rear sights. They dropped this model for 2010 but you might still be able to find under-appreciated old stock sitting at larger dealers who buy entire model line batches...

    Pocket holster for 642?

+1! I've been carrying my M&P340 in an UM#4 for years: functional and cost effective.

    Model 325sc

You're looking at $820-840 for a new BLACK 325-NG which has better XS front sight, a SS cylinder but bulky Pachmayr grips. And that might need a $12 C&S extended firing pin and that black paint isn't exactly wear-impervious by a long shot. So how much do you plan to sell your bird-in-hand for?...

    617 Good Price?

I'm gonna say it a "decent" price. While FJestad claims $460 @ 98%, Bud's sells new for $660 before transfer fees etc. And, given the .22LR demand, good luck finding a clean one cheaper.
