I would like to see that link; my .455 triple lock is in need of one as well. Thanks

The GI gun still has the detent and spring, and there's a nice 'turn line' inside from it. this gun was made in 1919 iirc, serial is 163,7xx. The commercial model does not have the spring or detent, though the hole in the yoke is there and there's a seat cut into the frame. The machining marks...

There are a couple hanging around at my place too. The lower one is a commercial model that shipped in 1925; it has no original finish, and it's been rebarreled. Still a nice shooter though; I keep it next to my keyboard as a home defense measure. The military one has been to England and back.

extraction problems with new 17 (1960)

I've had similar problems with all of my K-22's when I tried to use Wolf or Lapua ammo; I think their brass isn't as springy as the Winchester or Federal brass made here.

You're absolutely correct, that was my favorite .38. Corrected now. Boy, is my face red! I grabbed the wrong pic from ImageShack. So you don't have to scroll back:

K-22 Outdoorsman Appreciation and Photo Thread

I've gotten rid of all my K-22s but this one and a pre 18. This one shipped in June 1932, has the one screw rear sight and a silver/stainless bead. My favorite shooter, I bought it about 1997 when I lived up in Wyoming.

    Found a Grail gun...

Congrats! This pic shows a Triple-Lock cylinder that was counterbored for the thicker rim of the .45 Colt, leaving the serial number visible.

    Il. State Police K-38

There was an earlier order for the ISP, also through H.H.Harris; mine is numbered K271846 and it shipped July 30, 1956. Roy called it a Pre-Model 14. Rob

    Registered Mag Experts ??

He did say it was out of state, so I can't see him bringing it back today unless he has an FFL or C&R.

Are you sure those are the original grips? Are they numbered to the gun?

    Article about the 38/44

Every time I see your collection, I'm surprised that there are any left for us, but I was lucky a few years ago: By sockrotter at 2004-11-04 I'm not sure if these are in your database or not.

    S Series M&P ?

Bob, that looks like a great little shooter; it would fit my accumulation nicely. Good find. Rob

    S Series M&P ?

Bob, What's making you think it's from 1953? Factory letter? S series M&P numbers were used from 1945-1948.
