    USPSA, IDPA & ICORE?

Thanks much! Great information. OKFC05 - Funny comment on the 12 yo girl - but probably not far from the truth for me!

    USPSA, IDPA & ICORE?

Well, all those IDPA rules do sound like a lot of fun!! (kidding) Thx H Richard. Jim Watson, M657 and Pizza Bob - great advice and insights too! Have to learn more about steel. Never would have thought about a 10 shot 22 but I can see that would be fun. I've got a PC Model 19 that can get me...

    USPSA, IDPA & ICORE?

I'm in a southwest suburb of Chicago. Seems closest ICORE is in Indiana a couple of hours away; IDPA in a northern suburb I think.

    USPSA, IDPA & ICORE?

Considering a new hobby. Appreciate thoughts on any of these or all 3 - as the best place to start - mostly just interested in revolvers. For just starting, would you recommend anything outside of a 686, does anybody use a 67, or is that silly? Assume you should start all of these groups with a...

New PC Model 19 Carry Comp - Pretty but...

Been using snap caps with my K comp and no problems; has been helpful (and cheaper) to break it in. Asked Smith too and they said dry fire is fine don't even need snap caps but I feel better with them.

New PC Model 19 Carry Comp - Pretty but...

Agree with Bullzaye that my let down was more in the 2nd round, with the vice mark AFTER it was sent back - brand new - had not put a round through it. Think they did a good job fixing the original problems, nice to deal with, etc., but their Quality folks missed the mark (pun intended) once...

New PC Model 19 Carry Comp - Pretty but...

Thought I'd finally follow up with the resolution. S&W had it back in only about 2.5 weeks - pretty quick I thought. Much improved now. They replaced the bolt, yoke, yoke lock and lightened the action. Cylinder works with ease; action much smoother. Only thing, it looks like it came with a...

    G96 - Good for everything?

Used G96 for the first time and really liked it. Have used Ballistol but liked the way this worked on a matte finish. Wondering what others think and if you prefer something different for blue finish, stainless and/or wood stocks. Anything to avoid with G96?

    Just Ordered S&W 327

Anyone know how the 327 Nightguard is different? Where could you find one? which is easier to carry?

    Looking for a 45.

The Governor is of course my favorite 45 but may not fit every need. Still it's so much fun at the range.

New PC Model 19 Carry Comp - Pretty but...

cometpx4 - When I was on the phone with S&W, they thought loose ejector rod too but it was tight. You were on the same page as them. madmikeb - wish I posted this before shipping it back. Makes a lot of sense. Great insights! Thank you both - impressed by the knowledge! Appreciate it.

New PC Model 19 Carry Comp - Pretty but...

Went to pick up my long awaited new member of the family and was really let down. On my very first safety check, was not able to open the cylinder without some real difficulty. The release seemed to travel ok but the cylinder would just stay stuck in place. Also looked like when it did open, the...
