    The Ugly Duckling...

Grips, uh I mean stocks... I picked up a set of K frame diamond target stocks a little while back and they were about black with crud and nicotine stains (smelled like my grandfathers car in the 70's.... Cough). Of all things, I tried windex! The crud came off pretty easily and I was left with...

How about an "if you could only keep two" thread.

I'd have to say my model 64 2" and my 1967 T series Browning Hi Power would be the ones I'd keep.

    Model of 1917 end shake

Hi. I saw a 1917 Brazilian in a LGS and I liked it , nice action but it has more end shake than I'd like. My question is: is the end shake adjustable with shims on the prewar models like it is on the later guns. Or, is it preferable to go the yoke stretcher way. I have no experience with prewar...

Finally, a good morning at Wal-Mart

I had a good evening at "Wallyworld" last night and was able to purchase 3 250 round boxes of 9mm UMC for 65 bucks each plus tax. I felt like Homer Simpson in a doughnut shop! WOO HOO!

    M-21-4

I like mine a lot I put some Ahrends retro target conversion grips on her and she feels as good in my hand as my 'ol model 28-2. Couldn't seem to fall in love with the round butt grip though.

What made you a S&W fan?

My Dad was a deputy sheriff in the 70's-early 80's and he had a bunch of guns around. Berettas, Astras, Rugers, Lee-Enfields, etc. But of the two double action revolvers I remember him owning, his model 19 always interested me more than the colt snubbie. So here I am... !

Removing Gold patch from a tr 21-5

Has anyone removed the gold bling-bling from their thunder ranch model 21? I was wondering what's underneath... I mean I know there's an N frame under there but I was wondering is it blued or bare.

    Hi there from Virginny

Just Saying hi. Been lurking for a while and found the forum interesting so I went and registered. I've been away from shooting for a while but came back to it recently and am currently working on acquiring all the firearms I wanted when I used to sit there on the floor and read gun magazines as...
