I would like to think S&W and the 2 other BIG 3 of US gun manufacturers. Are far enough along in R&D that they know what not to sell us. I think the days of Air weight alloy framed pistols made to fire cartridges they can not handle are long gone.

Hi, I'm looking for a barrel for my 3000. my gun is blued and currently has a short poly cyl 2 3/4 chamber barrel on it. I would like something longer with a vent rib to do some skeet and target shooting with it possibly. I dont know if a 3" chamber barrel will work with my reciver or not, maybe...
