According to the book I mentioned, which I believe has pictures of some of the spent casings, it was 30-06. The casings in the pics are bottlenecked, which a .30 carbine would be straight walled.

I have followed the Pusser story for many years. Pusser no more shot Pauline than I did. She was hit twice in the head from 30.06 rounds out of a BAR. Best show I've seen on tv in my 54 years. Liked Givens' Stetson Carson so much, I found a nice one on ebay and had it cut and reshaped with the correct band like it looked in the pilot episode. Olyphant and Goggins were great in their roles, with back and forth banter that just cracked me up...

I have an older, blued Taurus 445 in .44 Special that I really like. Sold to a friend years ago, and basically had to beg him to buy it back. Has a really nice blued finish, and shoots as well as my J frames.

I'd like another run of "Justified". Not a series like the 8 episode run they just did, but where Raylan Givens comes out of retirement and has to try to hock down Boyd Crowder. The last episode of the 8 show run made sitting through the first seven episodes worth my time.

On my fourth one now. It's an 89 six speed coupe with both painted and lexan roof panels from the factory. Just turned 82k miles. I've had two C5's and enjoyed them, but the C4 has always been a favorite for some reason. Just feels more raw and traditional sports car to me. The 89 is cool...
