Is it worth an offer? Smith & Wesson Model 19-4

the S&W 19 (and it's sister the 66) are quite possibly S&W's finest revolver of all time. I have a 66 that I got from my father, someday my son will have it. It is simply the finest revolver I have ever had the pleasure to shoot. Mine is a 66 no dash. If you can get your hands on it before...

    Range report S&W 1911 Pro Series .45

Congrats....that's one sweet little gun!!! I too, am EXTREMELY happy with my S&W 1911sc E series bobtail......the gun shoots far better than I can (it actually makes me look almost like a marksman). In fact, my old Ruger Mark l WAS my most accurate gun......until I go this one. All i can...

    M&P22 vs Ruger SR22 vs Walther P22

A Ruger Mark lll will out shoot them all. BTW, did Walther ever get the slide issues fixed on the P-22? They were having trouble with them breaking.

    s&w warranty isn't bullet proof

If the gun failed due to a flaw with the gun itself, S&W would replace it. Youi blaming S&W for this failure is like blaming Ford for your F-150 rear ending another vehicle. The gun wasn't the issue. The AMMO is. You have to go after the culprit, not the innocent party.

    s&w warranty isn't bullet proof

Let me guess what happened. You fired a round that had too little powder...and the round lodged in the barrel. Not realizing it, you fired another round...which impacted the first, and it cause the gun to blow up. This is most likely what happened, and is not a rare occurrence. I have...

    S & W MODEL 66 no DASH HELP

I think that is generally true of firing a lot of .357 mag through this gun anyway. It's been long known that they won't hold up to constant use of the magnum round. But for occasional self defensive purposes, they should work just fine. I have to say, the 66 was my EDC gun of...

    S & W MODEL 66 no DASH HELP

If you are looking for a holster for it, Gould and Goodrich makes a nice 3 slot pancake that has a retention strap. I have the left hand version, my brother has the right hand version. It's a great holster, I got mine on Amazon for around $58 and had it in 4 days.

    1911sc e series mainspring housing

I have to agree, completely. Shooting it is a whole new level of experience. I love my S&W 66, and my M&P Pro 5", but the 1911sc Bobtail is hands down my favorite shooting gun. And it was a Christmas present. :)

I am jealous!!! I finally got my hands on a 1911 SC E series bobtail, and it will definitely be in my collection in the future. The gun has near perfect balance.
