Looking for the Users Guide/Manual for my Chiefs Special (CS9)

I got the urge to shoot a couple of my pistols I hadn't shot in a long time. Not that I didn't care for them, as a matter of fact it's just the opposite. It's just that I don't get back into that part of the safe I reserve for my special guns (to me that is) and the S&W CS9 is one of those...

    Polymer moonclips

It's been a whilsince I've posted anything but yesterday I got tired of messing around loading and unloading the 45acp (even using my Delux Moonclip Tool) moonclips for my Govenor that I thought I would ask you guy's about the polymer moonclips that I've heard were pretty cool. easy to load and...

Put a Crimson Trace Laser Sight on my Governor

My wife surprised me the other evening when one of our friends ask her what she would do if she was home alone and someone forced or was trying to force their way in the house when Jim was gone? (This is where I about fell off the chair because my wife isn't an aggressive person and really not...

    The S&W GOV

The Gov Hey, I'm still having fun with the Gov and finding It's (really my) accuracy improving with each visit to the range. I concentrate on shot placement at 7 yrds and less with the 45 ACP's. Since it's primary purpose is for HD i always load 2 rounds of Winchester 410 PDX1. I personally...

    The S&W GOV

Since getting the S&W GOV a couple months ago I've been having a ball with it. It's not too accurate a piece but having the capability of letting go with with a couple 410 shot rounds and cleaning up with some 45 acp's out of the same weapon in six consecutive shots is pretty damn...

    The Governor??

Hi, I was in my local gun shop when they were unpacking two brand new Governors and bought one just for the hell of it. It looked and felt good even though it was a (handful at 5lb's) I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but will probably go next Tuesday. I did discover the six round moon...

    crimson trace on a 637

CT I agree with Safearm, Ihe CT's are available in different sizes for the j-frames and costly if you only want one for plinking. I have one on my 442 which is used as a utility weapon (car gun, HD and occasionally ccw) for me and serves well in that capacity. The CT's are great little...

    442 finish

442 I've had a little 442 for a long time and as a utility weapon the finish has held up great. I don't baby the little revolver either even with the CT grip. It's kept in an inexpensive IWB DH holster and used for everything from a car gun, CCW, plinker and HD and as you can imagin, it's...

Need some advice on changing grips

I have a 3913TSW and want to put a set of Hogue's on it. I've removed the pin at the bottom of the grips on the 3913 but I can't get them to break loose so I can take them off. I Don' wont to scratch the frame of the pistol or ruin the original S&W grips by prying them off. Help please...

    Need a little help.

I ordered a set of Hogue rubber grips from S&W for my 3913 TSW. Fortunately, I called S&W before removing the stock panels (grips) on the pistol because there was no hardware included in the package. Luck was with me because I guess there are some springs, etc held in place by the grips and...

New Hogue rubber grips for 3913

I love the grips that are on my little CS9 so much that I decided to order the ones S&W has available for the 3913 at their online store. Can't wait to get them and give you all a report. JimK

    3913 vs Bersa 380

Bersa 380 vs S&W 3913 for ccw I had both but sold the Bersa. Not because it wasn't a great little pistol (I think it's the best gun on the market for it's price)but because I had other 380's I prefered. I personally don't think you can compare the 380 round to the 9mm as far as PDefense is...

    Any good S&W CCW 9mm

S&W ccw 9mm As has been mentioned the little CS9 or the 3913 are great weapons and make for very comfortable and reliable ccw's. Jimk

Every time I take my Smith pistols (Chief's Special and 3913TSW) to the range I always end up wishing the 3913 had the same sof rubber grips like the ones on the CS9. Boy...I like those and decided to ask you fellows here on the forum if you know wheather you can get them for the 3913TSW...
