    Press Lighting

I also recently added the KMS light to my Lee Classic turret press. This light makes a huge difference in my reloading process. It really illuminates the case and the powder volume is easy to see. I followed the installation instructions, but still needed to use a very thin piece of double sided...

Renew CC asked if I was prior military.

Ironically, I have had my CCL here in NY state since 1990 and we have never had a renewal requirement until now. I will have to renew my CCL by January 2018 and every 5 years thereafter. At this time there is no charge to renew, which is surprising since they find a way to tax everything that...

    Beltman.net Belts and New Owners

I just bought my 1st gun belt from them a few months ago so nothing to compare it to but I like it alot. It works and feels great. I even carried my full-size 1911 in the woods one time and it was very comfortable.

    Best 65 or 66

I have a model 66-3 that I bought as my first gun in 1990. I wanted an all-around gun and it is still my favorite gun to shoot. I don't mean to hijack this thread but my son just texted me that he has a local LGS with many model 65's, he is going to look at today. Anything in particular he needs...

    Lee reloading equipment

I have only been reloading for a few years now using the Lee Classic Turret press. A few months ago I noticed that the decapping pins on my universal decapping die and one of my other dies had been bent over. I ordered several new pins from Lee and was surprised to see they only charged me for a...

    CCI primers

I get light strikes using CCI primers in my M&P Shield 9mm only. No problems in all my other guns. Don't know if it is a primer problem or an issue with the gun. Have about 500-600 rounds through it. Will pick up some Federal primers and try them.

Heads up X-treme bullets has 20% off! Still on sale!

they have been sending an email daily for the last 3 days advertising their 20% off. Just ordered #1000 200g .45 plated RN. I shoot mostly xtreme plated so finally jumped on the deal.

What type of punch to move sights

I understand the OP was discussing moving the front site, but I have tried to move the rear site unsuccessfully. The set screw came out easily, but I have actually beat on the rear site with a brass punch and a hand sledge and it did not budge. The owners manual says not to adjust the rear site...

    Detroit PD M&P's

My son lives in Detroit and mentioned those to me. He just bought an M&P 9 from Buds after shooting mine for the 1st time when he was home for Christmas. Unfortunately I cannot buy one since they are 15 round mags and I live in New York.

    Powder for shield 9

I started reloading about 14 months ago and first used Power Pistol for 9mm (shield and S&W M&P full size). I have since used some BE-86 and just loaded some 9mm using HP-38. Power Pistol is an excellent choice to start with.

Went looking for Bullseye powder today....

Found a 8#jug of 231 recently at an LGS for $30/lb. Couldn't do it. Had my son pickup an 8# of Bullseye for $150 for me this week. Now he's gotta bring it from Detroit to Upstate NY on his next trip home

    Too bad I'm broke.....

Oh I have plenty of powder, for now. I am just preparing for when Hillary gets elected and we will not be able to get any powder. Had my son check out a range in Detroit yesterday and he scored me an 8 pound bottle of Bullseye for$150 so I think I made the right decision.

    Too bad I'm broke.....

Heard a LGS had some powder so drove 25 miles to check it out today. They had Power Pistol, Unique and TiteGroup all in 1# and an 8# of 231. Everything was $30/pound. Wanted the 231 but that would have been $260 with tax. Couldn't bring myself to do it.
