I saw more pistol powder at ATP gunshop than I've seen in years.

Acc #5 and 9. CFE, Power pistol, Blue Dot. I can't wait until payday. The only problem was that they were at the 'new normal' prices, starting around $26/ lb, some 30.

The owner said that primer prices are lower and it's a good time to stock up. I'll hopefully get that with the bigger end of the month paycheck.

Handgun Powder still isn't too plentiful around my area. When it is available, shops seem to want $25/lb--rifle powders are now around $30-$35/lb. The new norm for primers is around $30/brick. Makes me nervous wondering what is going to happen come November.

RW, I feel your pain. Last week I had to walk away from a fresh 8# jug
of WW 231. If I had had 151 bucks , it would have been mine.

And those bottles of powder are staying on the shelves for now. They have had Universal in stock for weeks.

Precision One on Daniels Island has CCI primers for around $30 a thousand.

Heck, I'm even seeing .22lr staying on the shelves. I really hope that doesn't change. I just bought a Henry .22lr lever rifle.

Heard a LGS had some powder so drove 25 miles to check it out today. They had Power Pistol, Unique and TiteGroup all in 1# and an 8# of 231. Everything was $30/pound. Wanted the 231 but that would have been $260 with tax. Couldn't bring myself to do it.

Oh I have plenty of powder, for now. I am just preparing for when Hillary gets elected and we will not be able to get any powder. Had my son check out a range in Detroit yesterday and he scored me an 8 pound bottle of Bullseye for$150 so I think I made the right decision.
