Have the accuracy issues with the full-size 9mm's been resolved? I know they (S&W) was looking at new barrels to address the issues, but have the newer M&P's been fixed? Specifically the new F/S VTac 9mm's? I'm eyeing one of those babies to replace my M9. :) And to go with my ever...

Thanks for the replies. I guess this gun would serve bedside duty, with CT laser grips, X300 and a 14 round mag. Occasional carry when weather permits a jacket. My primary carry gun is a trusty S&W J Frame, but a 9mm Shield could very well be in my future too...

I'm new to the M&P line, I've only followed it to the extent that I know it exists, had a few bugs which S&W worked out and it now has a huge following. I'm a 1911 fan at heart and prefer .45 ACP. Glock's are out of the question for me... H&K's too much money... So what about the M&P .45? I...

Its the trench along the top is way off... its too far to the right side of the gun, not even down the center. Sight alignment is nearly impossible as the front blade is almost half way out of the rear notch (way to the left) to achieve hits.

Yeah, I wonder what S&W would do to make it right, and how long that would take.

:( Looking down on my new Model 637, problem is obvious... Does S&W even perform any QC checks on the fit and finish of these guns?
