Agreed. The trigger on original LCP (second gen) was great. I didn't mind the trigger on the LCP II or Max, but what worried me was that hammer being 90% cocked while in my pocket and without a plunger safety for that firing pin. I just didn't trust that design.
The new BG 2.0 has the firing...
I own the original BG380 (Non-Safety & Non-Laser) and only carried it out of convenience. The trigger on that thing isn't going to be pulled without intention, as you know.
Just picked up the BG 2.0 and the trigger is pretty light compared to other pocket pistols. It's definitely lighter than...
I recently sold off a Glock 22 and purchased an M&P40FS to replace it. Still own several 9mm Glocks though.
Anyway, I am shooting low with my new M&P40. Regarding the point of aim, if you were shooting for bulls-eye, do you cover the bulls-eye circle with the front dot? I have been trying...
Shot the gun again this weekend. This pistol is a sweet shooter. I guess the recoil is so tamed feeling due to the way it fits my hand? Regardless, I'm loving it.
If this keeps ups, I may end up moving some more Glocks for M&Ps!!
Yup, I actually found one a tad cheaper but the $399 is a great deal. It does have the mag disconnect safety but I removed mine as soon as I got it. It does come with three mags which is a nice plus too!
The Glock will serve you well, mustangman. My G22 never had an issue. I just couldn't...
Yes, the gun came with three mags. I really like the look of the pistol.
My Glocks are all USA made Gen 4's and have the "Teflon" looking finish. I have a 26, 19 and 17 that are all that way. But I could not get used to the 22 for some reason. Sold it off to get this M&P and I'm glad I did...
Just got back from the range and I really like this pistol. Handles recoil very well and functioned flawlessly. I was shooting about 3-4" low at first but I think it's from shooting the old G22. I need to get used to the hinged trigger on this new pistol. Very happy with it so far.
Just picked it up today during lunch. I forgot how good these M&P's feel in hand. I can remember how well the M&P's handled the recoil of the 40 caliber and this one should be no different. Don't think I'll be missing my Glock 22 that I sold to get this one. It was a good gun but I never...
For current manufactured pistols in the same caliber/size, does S&W use the exact same housing blocks for models that have the mag disconnect and ones without them?
In other words......iif you had the right parts, could you add a mag disconnect or remove one using the same housing block...
Of these two, Which do you think handles the 40 recoil better?
A) M&P 40
B) Glock 22 Gen 4
This is not a brand war topic as they are both great firearms. Just wondering which one you think handles .40 the best. Thank you.
