Have a 686 Classic Hunter, unfulted cyl, with a 6" barrel, in the BDR7XXX S/N range. Had to get her trigger restored because the previous owner allowed a back yard "gun smith" to grind on her sear. But she is Great shooter now.

Actually I would suggest shooting your PC 327 a bunch before your have her worked on. S&W triggers are famous for improving with use. Back draw, with a local gun smith (unless they have a great track record) you are playing poker with the results being, safe & good / unsafe and screwed. JMHO k

Real close to a full lug on the M13-4 PC model made in 1995. 3" ported barrel.

Had one, loved it, wish that first word wasn't "HAD"! You got a beauty.

Have one, very smooth double action, very accurate with right ammo, great carry, not a large number produced. Got mine (used) for 6 something a number of years ago, so with inflation 850 isn't bad at all.

Very Nice, the mod 586 (esp.-3)4 & 6" are our favorites. That matte finish is now on our wish list!

Thank you Diamond_c, that is a great start. That is the most info I have seen on this -4 model. Got her from a local gun shop a few years ago (consignment gun). Never thought about it's history till recently. BTW, it is a great carry!

I have a S&W PC shop Mod 13-4, 3", 357 mag, ported barrel, bobbed hammer, extra nice grips, S/N HPC02**. Anyone out there have any idea as to when, how many, and/or other info on this weapon. I have not been able to find it in any forum anywhere. Thanks, K
