model 19 update Finally got to take a good look at the 19. It is a 19-3 model. Bore and chambers look like new. Patridge front sight. It came with soft hogue grips. What would be the "correct" grip for this gun? Would they be numbered or plain. Thanks again, Ken

made a private deal on a model 19, 6 inch, pinned and recessed. Hogue grips. Hardly used at all. Turn line is only blue wear. No box or papers unfortunately. How does $350 Out the door sound? Thanks

Considering one for concealed carry. pro's and con's? it seems a little "chunky" . How are they for reliability and holster availabilty. What would a used but very nice condition one be expected to go for. Thanks in advance, Ken

I have 8 lbs of this powder, but am not well versed in it's use. please post good results for 38 spl 125 grain lead bullet loads ( 686 revolver) and 45 acp (1911) 200 grain lead bullets. Target velocity is what I am looking for. thanks, Ken

speaking of Model 27's. Local shop has a 27-2 with the 3 1/2 inch bbl. No box or papers, but looks like new. Is $575 too much for this gun? Thanks, Ken

thanks for the responses. I will probaly carry the +p+ 110's instead of a 125 357 mag load. I'm alittle worried about over penetration with the 357 mag load. Thanks, keep safe.

I just got a Mod 67. Looks like it was unfired. grips numbered to gun, pinned barrel. Red ramp insert front sight. Ser # 28K775X. No box, but really nice. Was wondering when manif, and how i did. $349. out the door. Thanks. Ken
