I'm curious if any of you are successfully running a mini reflex sight mounted on the slide of your M&P22? Reason I am asking is my worry that adding a few ounces to the weight of the slide would cause cycling problems? Or is there plenty of energy there that extra weight wouldn't be an issue...

I bought my M&P22 about 6 weeks ago, and ordered 2 mags direct from S&W right away. I also received the backorder postcard, and mine took about 3 weeks total to arrive.

I did dry fire a used M&P 9mm at a local shop, and had no complaints about the trigger pull. No idea how much it had been used though, or how old the model was. I'm sure these are all minor differences, and I'm not an experienced enough shooter to be very discriminating. Just trying to learn...

Also really enjoying my new M&P22. Fair warning - I bought a big 535 white box of Winchester hollow points, and my gun does not like them. At least one failure to eject per magazine, and a decent number of stovepipes. Perfect record with CCI Mini Mags so far though. Your mileage may vary.
