Going to try to post pics. It is a 4". Blueing needs work. Might just spot blue it and shoot it. Somebody needed money so my friend offered him $225. My friend doesn't like revolvers so it was passed on to me.

My second Smith revolver. Had some rust spots on the side plate. I ooo steel wooled them and oiled good. It's in good shooter condition. I paid $245 with transfer. Can someone please date it. s/n N55210 Thank you

I believe they are hardened steel.
