What dash numbers are they? You have a very nice collection. The 2 at the top look like pre 15's.

I believe the s&w k38 combat masterpiece 4" barrel is one of the finest s&w revolvers ever made by the old world s&w craftsman. What a sweet action it has.
Grab that nickel while we can. It's almost all gone. Once it's gone it won't be coming back.
I'm thinking lots of them in shiney nickel, many in blue and a few in stainless.
Blue is cool, stainless is better, but nickel is freaking awesome.

Which, if any, has a special quality at the range over the others?
I once bought a 5" Model 10 and, soon after, bought another just like it (but made 10 years later). The earlier one, made in 1961, became a permanent part of my collection after one trip to the range. The other one shot great, but nothing special in comparison.
Might you have had a similar experience with one of your Combat Masterpieces?

I have to confess that the top 4 are safe queens
The "shooter" is the bottom 15-3 wearing the PC magnas. I have several Smiths that I shoot regularly ( a 10-5, 28-2, and the 15-3, as well as a newer 686); but none of the others, as well as my Ruger SP101 have an actions that match the smoothness and consistency of the 15-3

Took my 15-3 to the range this AM and was shooting the heads off dandelions at 20 yards. I just love the k frames from about 1955 thru 1977.

Looks like you have your hands full, I'll hold one or two of those for awhile if you like. My 15-3 is lonely and could use a couple of playmates. Why you hanging onto all of those "old" revolvers? Any of these working? (Nice collection.)
