I agree, re: trigger finger. I have large hands and use the index finger tip on all nice triggers (say 4# or less) that do not require a leverages 'pull'. The lack of soft flesh on the tip gives me much better trigger control...neither low nor left. Ymmv

My '68 6" M19 is awesome. Relatively light, accurate and the action is 'it'. I love shooting SWC's through it in something like PPC competitions. Great hobby you have!

My 27-2 has an SN of 332xxx. It has 3T's and a presentation box. I read where this means it was shipped after September of 1975? Can any one verify when it was born? Thanks in advance!

Just got this in from my FFL today. Sn 332xxx, I'm guessing around a 1974-5 according to other's I've seen go by(?). Has a mahogany presentation case with a cleaning rod and wire/oil wipe. Grips appear to be walnut. Blueing is 98-9%! 3T, white outline rear sight and ramped/Baughman with...

I agree it's S&D on popular calibers (22lr, 223/5.56, 9mm, 40 S&W), BUT, something stinks of profiteering on some other calibers (38 Spcl comes to mind, 357 too).

Very sweet gun nad the right deal. I just watched a 27-2 in 4" close for $949 on GB a couple of days ago. It looked to be in nice shape but wasn't a pristine/unfired type. I just paid too much for a 27-2 6", but will post pics/story once it comes in and not steal this thread.
