I want to replace my sight from my 52... I have loosened and removed the set screw and the sight slides right and left about a millimeter but then comes to a stop both directions. I do not want to force it if there is more to the procedure.
If you have personal experience please let me know...
Ever since some crazy bought a gun and tried to shoot Reagan on the same day, California has a 10 day cooling off period where the gun physically has to stay at a FFL dealer's safe.
So now only bad guys buy guns and take it home with him.

I would like some recommendations for mounting a rail and red dot on a 52-2. I know that there are rear sight only mounts and right grip mounts but I have not heard any praise for either system. I am open to having it bored and tapped if necessary if you have found the right rail to start...

I believe the Mags are the same. It is just that the button is small and after shooting 100-200 rounds that is filling 10-20 mags the little button starts getting painful to pull down again. The Red HKS pulls down the button and holds it there. You still have to index it down the mag ever...
I have just recently purchased both ... paid 725 for the 41 and 1100 for the 52-2 but being in California... it costs more because we can only buy what is already in state.
