I recently asked for help on a NM3. With your help I looked in a antique book and online and confirmed it was a DA44. ser 77xx. 4" barrel russian 1 7/16 cyl. Question is when ser numbers are listed, are you listing DA44 as NM3's. thanks for everyones help. I wish mine had been in better shape...

do you think this would have orginally been chromed? i think that is why all the numbers are gone. i can see a few letters on the barrel. if bead blasting will remove the non-orginal chrome. i can try it.

does anyone reconize this fire arm it looks like a new model 3 but it a lot different? thank it is a break over revolver. 1 3/8 cyl. 44 or 45 cal. five in barrel. double action. has laynard on rounded butt. can find no numbers only a few letters on the barrel.
