I need the actual thread size of the rear sight attachment screw.(the small old style one) Just picked up a 29-3 8 3/8 that had a scope on it. The scope mount was attached by drilling and tapping the sight screw hole oversize. Sure hope there is such a thing as a helicoil that small.

There is no rule that you have to tell FedEx what is in the box. They have a rule that requires the gun to be sent by air (UPS also). I work for a gun distributer and ship a lot of stuff every day.

I picked up a Fresno Co. Sheriffs dept 4506 a couple of weeks ago- a little holster wear, but like new inside. Shoots just fine. on a side note, does anyone make some relativly thin wood grips for these? I have seen the Hogues and they are a bit thick for me.
