I picked up one as well last year before all this stupid panicking started. What trips me out is I always here you guys scoring S-W semi autos locally and at gun shows/gun shops. I always have to go to G Broker for em. I never see 3rd Gen S-W's at gun shows/shops...unless it's like a totally reagged out police trade in. Congrats, 1006's are a lot of fun, be sure and get some Double Tap ammo!!!!

That indeed is a clean weapon. Looks the same vintage as the 6906 I got last month. Mine also was in surprisingly good condition, but yours looks like it just came out of the box.

That's a very nice trade. I only have the 1066 & 1076, but anyway you look at it if it is a 10xx you have a nice gun.
