    929 Race Holster Fit

Hey Everyone, I was able to get my hands on the new 929. I brought it home, and tried it in my 625 Double Alpha Race Master Holster and it is way to tight of a fit. My 625 is really smooth in and out of the holster, but the 929 is not. I would assume they would be interchangeable since there...

    USPSA

I shoot a 625JM. Its a blast. I have also shot in Production a lot with my Glock 34 but I never have as much fun with an auto-loader as I do with my Revolver. For my gear, I use a Double Alpha Race Master holster for my revolver and the James Austin MoonClip Server which is amazing. It all...

    uspsa 9mm loads

IM shooting 4.0 Titegroup under a 115gn Berry RN seated at 1.110". Not the most accurate compared to the 124 and 147 that I tested, but its really cheap to load and shoot a bunch of. It gets me a 129 power factor in Tucson, AZ which is a dry climate at altitude (2500').

I love My lock and load

I am currently loading 9mm on my LNL with hornady dies. I was having problems with the machine sticking on the down stroke and it was from the resizing die. I backed out the sizing die bout .5-1.5 turns and its works like a charm now. Im shooting the bullets in my Glock 34 so chambering them...

.38 Short Colt Loads for USPSA

I wonder what Miculek thinks about the new 8-shot revolver rule? Honestly IMO, I think they should divide the revolver division into two different divisions now, 6-shot and 8-shot. You cant be competitive anymore shooting the 625 w/ 45ACP because on a 32 round stage you need to reload 2 more...

    2014 Revolver Nationals

Thanks a lot for your help guys. Im going to have my dealer put in an order for a 627 sometime this week. Im start with shooting some .38 specials from it while I work my way into the .38 short colt ammo. Again, thanks for your help and have fun shooting.

.38 Short Colt Loads for USPSA

Hey Everyone, So I have pretty much settled on buying a 627PC and loading .38 Short Colts for my new USPSA gun. I was curious if anyone could help me start out with my load data? I will be using Titegroup powder and a 158gn Berry RN. I load my 147gn 9mm with 3.2 gn Titegroup and get 130PF...

    2014 Revolver Nationals

I looked up the Lee Die set on Midway and it says the seating die is capable of providing a taper crimp. I also saw on there that a 38 short colt crimp die is about $65. I assume I could do the same thing you did and use my 9mm hornady crimp die in my .38 hornady die body. I have lots of...

    2014 Revolver Nationals

Awesome thanks. Im shooting a 625 right now, and Im looking to get an 8-shot wheel gun since shooting the 8-shot will be the way to compete now. I have a few more questions for you. 1) I assume you load it with a .38 cal bullet? 2) I read that you have to use the hearthco moonclips because of...

Powders that Fill Up Cases for .38 Special and 9MM

Definitely buy yourself some trailboss. It is my favorite for .38 Special. I load 5.0 gn under a 125gn Berry flatpoint for just plinking around the range. It fills the case up 80%. For my 9mm I use Titegroup, under a 115gn Berry RN and it fills the case about 65-70%, so a double charge...

    627 V.S. 929

Yea I think I'm going to continue to try to get the 929 for a while. Im going to purchase a 627 as well, I just cant decide between the 5" PC or the 4" Pro Series. I can do the action work myself, so I dont really see an advantage to spending an extra $250 on the PC. I know the 5" PC will be...
