S&W MODEL 32??? TERRIER BOX AND PAPERS

Found this online. Serial number 747xx. SCSW has date range from 1949-1969 so I can't accurately date the gun. Seller states there is no s/n inside of the stocks. Says it's a 5 screw. Looks to me to be a 4 screw. But I will leave that up to the forum to help me decide that. Rates the gun at 98%...

    CS1 The real deal?? VALUE???

Local seller has this CS1 for sale. I thought the ones with boxes were overruns. This one has a matching box with papers. Claims it came frome an agent. Stamped "M". I know there is a thread on these but it got too deep for me. Very clean gun. Just was wondering the value. Check out the pic...

This is a 4" for $2100.00 with all the goodies. The listing you have shown for $1350.00 is not half the price. Thanks for your input. F

    686-1 TRADE STRAIGHT FOR THIS????

I have decided to keep the 686. The 19-5 was a nice gun but I think I would have a hard time finding another 686 in the current configuration. Thanks to all for confirming my real feelings. Sometimes when you question something, there is usually a reason. I found that out today.

    686-1 TRADE STRAIGHT FOR THIS????

I have a 686-1 snubbie boxed and papered that I was thinking of trading for this 19-5 nickel.. Apparently the owner sent it to Keystome Arms to be polished by a person named Mark. Comes with the ram's horn grips from Maston Stag and the original stocks. Problem is my 686-1 is complete as it...

MODEL 629-2 3 INCH NIB VALUE

I believe the Pachs are correct. There is another thread concerning this model stating that is how this was originally shipped from S&W. Still no explanation as to no info in the book on this one. Being a 3 inch, could not find anything on the internet for sale or in auctions. Also being unfired...

    Limited Reloading Recommended Equipment

Well since acquiring this model 52-2 probably 250-500 rounds per year of .38 wadcutter. That does not rule out other pistol calibers. I have quite a bit of factory ammo. But nothing in .38 wadcutter.

    Limited Reloading Recommended Equipment

Hello to all. Never did any reloading before. Was wondering what would be an inexpensive way to reload .38 wadcutter since they are hard to find. And if you find in factory ammo, it averages 30-35 dollars for a box of 50. I can get reloaded ammo from Mikes Gun Shop for $17.00 box of 50. So I...

    Model 52-1 Manual Explanation

Engine49guy on page 287 of the Standard Catalog of S&W, the 52-1 was produced from 1963-1970. Also on page 401 shows serial numbers starting at A115001-A156801 in 1970. Serial numbers starting with an "A" began in 1970. Also according to Mr. Jinks as I previously mentioned, the gun was produced...
