Had a nearly new S&W 340 PD stolen from my truck along with a laptop and other stuff last week in San Antonio. Anybody know if I need to send a letter to ATF? I have the local law enforcement on it.

Update on my problem...Took the Mod 13-2 out to the range Monday..shot a box of Magtech 230 gr. 357 magnums...never had a problem...

Thanks again for the good info..I,ve had other S & W 357s, and never had this problem, this is the first Mod 13 I have had. Will check it with different ammo. Thanks, Edd

Thanks guys...I had used some Monarch ammo in a one of the 9 MM that I have and it worked fine...I did look at the fired casings from the 357 and they didn't look abnormal...however, I didn't look that closely out at the range and left the casings there...I will try it again tomorrow and see...

I just bought a new P-22 for nearly $500.00 otd. Great little 22 pistol...Have a SIG Mosquito 22 and it has been terrible with jams.Walther is owned by S&W...Walther America.
