I Hate Living In The Country

Ha! I did the same... I was going to offer to drive him through Atlanta to remind him of what he's NOT missing.

    Annoyed at thread drift

Speaking of drifts, shouldn't we be seeing some now that it is January? Been away a while, proud to see this thread has lurched along!

My King sighted, ivory stocked, RM/ case

Wow, that is beautiful! At the risk of offending the purists, I like that case even better than an original box. Thank you for sharing.

    Which 357 gold dot - 158 or 125?

I seem to recall that he has problems seeing the screen. I just shrug it off as his idiosyncrasy.

As for "MarshWheeling"'s poem in "Knigges" thread

    That is amazing.

Couple interesting new products from S&W for 2015

Point taken. I hope Smith wins it. I was tired of the M9 the first time I shot one.

Couple interesting new products from S&W for 2015

True, the 460 and 642 with a laser really don't represent anything new, but before coming down too hard on Smith, let's not forget the Models 69 and 66 that were just released.

    357 magnum 18-3

Hello and welcome to the Forum! Look closely, are you sure it isn't a Model 13? That is a 357 magnum, and a Model 18 is a 22 LR. I don't have my SCSW handy, so I can't give you a manufacture date. I'm sure someone will be along shortly that can though.

    Model 69 Range Report

Thank you for the range report. I'm surprised to hear that the Model 69 had less felt recoil than your 629. Do you think it was because the axis of the bore is lower in your hand or maybe the grips?

Anyone else pumped for American Sniper?

Agreed. And to think, Jimmy Stewart was an Air Force General Officer with combat missions over Europe and Vietnam...

Anyone else pumped for American Sniper?

I am excited to see it. I'm working on the book at present. It is fairly straight forward and an easy read. The move should be good, too. Clint Eastwood made it, and Taya Kyle, Chris Kyle's widow, said the movie got it right.

This one was just too ugly...

Nice work! If I may, what exactly did you do? I am curious about the exact technique.
