This weekend I aquired a 15-3 with 2" barrel. Otherwise a standard gun, it has a serrated trigger. According to the SCSW, these came with a smooth combat trigger and there in only one instance of a serrated trigger reported.
It dates to 1968 and appears to have had some smithing done, but a trigger change is not what would fall under the usual class of work. It does have what might be an ID number stamped on the inside of the yoke which might indicate law enforcement background but does not show holster wear.
Just curious, & add to database if it is a legitimate gun.
