    Questions Re: S&W Model 41

I shot the 7 1/2" in College as well, I felt that the long barrel did not balance as well as the shorter one. That is why I bought the short version a few years ago. I just took it out last weekend after not shooting it (or much of anything) for several years, now I remember why I love my 22s!

    .22LR

I have always loved shooting my 22s. They have no kick, low noise and cost a ton less money to shoot. Just bought a Sig 22 not long ago, didn't really need another 22 semi, but decided one can never have too many. Just need another couple of cases of 22 ammo.

New to me model 27-9, love at first shot

Took my new to me 27-9 out to range Saturday. I put 150 rounds of 38 spl throught it and I love this pistol! It is a 4 inch barrel and once I got the sights set up for me, I kept all my shots in the black at 25 yrds. I know that for most of you that is not a big deal, but for me that is an...

686 Frame - Stress fracture or Normal

Saw the marks forward of the cilender and to me they look like casting marks that were not removed. Reason for this is they are too straight.

    Model 17 and 18 OR .22 Diamondback 6"

Not a 22, but I just got rid of my 38 diamond back. The trigger sucked so bad! Traded for a newer model 27. I know they look real cool (I had wanted one for a while too), but unless you really find a good one and you like the trigger pull, I would skip it!

    686 hogue grips

I hate rubber grips, I LOVE Hogue Wood grips!

    I've got brag a little

I would brag more than a little, I know a fair number of rifle shooters that have trouble with 2 inches at 100yrds.

good wood grips for a K frame

I am a big fan of Hogue Mono grips! I just installed my fourth set last night (Kingwood finger grooved) on my new 27-9. Can't say enough good things about Hogue or their customer service!

    Self Propelled Mowers

I also bought a Honda, I got mine two years ago. I got the top end one and it does not miss a beat. Just used it for the first time this last weekend, filled it up and it started on second pull.

    why reload?

If I had to shoot factory ammo, I could not afford to shoot. Factory 38 ammo is like $14/50, I reload for about $4.25/50.

Ordered a NEW "Classic" model 27 4" blue

I have only had mine about three weeks. It still has the small grips on it (that will change when the Hogues I ordered get here). I have put 300 rounds through it and love it.
