loose MBUS Gen 2 front sight

There are two different levels of the "knock off" versions. One is actually licensed by Magpul for airsoft and they are solid and more than functional on a 22. The other is just made from a factory in China at a much lower price point/quality and unlicensed. The problem is looking at packaging...

    The people hath spoken

Got the following from our local guy. Who knows how far it will go, but Cuomo has no supporters outside of Albany and NYC. ********************************************************* No More Midnight Bills - Lalor to Cosponsor Governmental Transparency Act Albany, New York: Assemblyman Kieran...

    NY law challenged

Everyone in New York outside of NYC is against this law, so I don't think it would be a lost cause if it did end up in state.

NY authorities to explain new gun laws

New York State Rifle & Pistol Association is going through the process of bringing a lawsuit upon the state. They took the first legal step yesterday and now have (I believe) 90 days to bring forth legal action. If we in New York lose as far up as the Supreme Court, then one would think that any...

New York Post: Pro Gun Rights Civil Disobedance.....

Make sure it doesn't come close to happening in your state, so we have a place to move to if this isn't overruled :D

New York Post: Pro Gun Rights Civil Disobedance.....

Not for nothing, but any businesses or people you'd be supporting are not Cuomo or owned by Cuomo. There's just as good a chance (especially if the business is located north of NYC) that you'd be taking the business away from an NRA supporting, law abiding, gun owning citizen.

    New York says "OOPS"

A call to the local state troopers went as follows: "I have questions about the new gun laws and I don't even know if you're the right..." "We have no directives at this time. There's nothing I can tell you." "Is there someone that does have information or answers?" "Nope, they're going to...

    Woe to us New Yorkers

I'm curious about this law going the other way and working in some people's favor. All the NY compliant rifles of the last 10 years with pinned stocks and no flash hiders, are now being lumped in with the pre-ban rifles. So does this mean we can unpin our stocks since the pistol grip means...

    Woe to us New Yorkers

The new law states that anything with any ONE of those things is an assault weapon. So if it has a pistol grip, you need to register it.

    Woe to us New Yorkers

Unless there's good reason not to register it, I still think that's your best bet, or just do not register it. Plus, a lot of things can happen in a year, its not a totally lost cause just yet. Also, I believe the two springs are in place to keep the rear body pin from popping out and to keep...

NY Has Tentative Deal on Gun Control: AP

Now since anything that was designed to be NY Compliant up until this week (not having a flash hider, collapsing stock, etc) now falls under the Assault Weapon name now anyhow with all the pre-ban stuff, does this mean I can unpin my stocks and throw on flash hiders since I'm going to supposedly...

    Who to ask?

Alright, unfortunately I live in New York, and this is the first major legislation to pass since I've been a gun owner. Which leaves me with one major question. Who do I call if I have questions about the new laws? I thought about calling the local State Trooper barracks but I feel like they...

NY Has Tentative Deal on Gun Control: AP

Every time there has been a leak or word of an agreement or an outline or whatever, the calls, letters, and emails have been blasted out, and 48 hours later there is a new leak with even less restriction put on. Keep the pressure on them! I've only heard back from one representative regardless...
