I recently traded a used 2nd generation Glock 22 (maybe $350 value) for this 112,XXX numbered specimen. I was thinking it was an early 1955 vintage from what I have read but perhaps.....earlier? That would be cool as I'm of 1954 vintage myself. It's a bit worn for it's nearly 60 years but...

The classic 6.5" will always be my first love. A stainless 6" is pretty hard to beat too. For a mix of old and new....I have a 4 screw frame that was a sad victim of neglect. It has had it's original barrel replaced with a 5" underlug and a matte blue finish.

Over the years, I've owned a number of 28's including one of the uncommon 28-3 shown in the first pics. Nothing at all wrong with it but I never did warm up to it like the older pinned and recessed. Traded it away but recently acquired a decent pre-28 5 screw 4". Not bad shape considering it...

Can't add much to what has already been said....but I can contribute a pic of one that passed through my hands. I have a 4" blued version presently that has definately seen better days cosmeticly but still an excellent shooter.

M60-4 I had my eye out for one of these for quite a while before I came across this one at a local show. Score.....and the price was good too! Interesting that the others shown have casehardened hammer and trigger while mine have stainless finish.

I've been looking to add a .41 Mag to the S&W pile and came across this 6" in pretty decent shape. A good shooter....not a pristine collectible. The asking price is $700. So what are they going for in your area? Thanks in advance for any input.
