VBS.. I have the same problem with my BG. With that trigger I just leave it off safety for the same reason. Goes on fairly easy, but really have to work at getting it off.
Not a problem I want if the weapon is needed. No other problems.
Do some research. A lot of good info about the firearm. Once I had decided on the BG I checked out this forum. Brought the gun home and torn it down remembering all of the experience here.
I carry it every day and so far have had 0 trouble with it.
Good Luck.
In time I don't know if the safety gets any easier or not. I find with mine it engages fairly easy. However its a little harder to get off. If needed I don't want to be fighting with the safety. With the trigger pull (which is a form of safety) I just ignore the one provided.
My thoughts. Some of which I've already posted. Bought my BG and looked up this forum. First thing I did when I broke it down for its first cleaning was check that screw for the laser.
Next -- the laser.. If it had been available without I would have bought it.. But it has a laser. For a...
My timing is so good. I agree with a weapon of this size not sure other than a selling point, what good a laser would be. But I wanted a .380 and ran into mine at a country gun store. Not to long after buying it they came out with the new model. Same happened with the 9C. Wanted a new main...
No only have the one allen wrench that came with the weapon. But I have plenty in my tool box so that shouldn't be a problem.
Forgot to report that the mag did not drop out and the slide locked back everytime the last round was fired.
Shot more accurate that the M60 did. At my range (defensive...
I dumb I guess. Bought my BG,380 and before doing anything found this forum. Read everything I could find. Broke down the weapon and did the cleaning. My box had a small allen wrench included. Used it to double check that small screw.
Put 60 rds thru it this last Wednesday. Fired and...
My wife has tried my semi's, but seems to lean toward the revolvers. So locally I found her two. a S&W M60 and a Charter Arms 5 shot.
Why two? One is on the night stand and the other next to her seat in the family room.
We put almost 50rds thru the 60 this last Wednesday.
I believe a few months ago Guns & Ammo had a article about the replacement issue. Also quick story line opened earlier. I was a SSgt when my CO said for me to check out a weapon from supply. I was to be his payroll guard. I was issued one .45 with holster. Nothing else. I ask for a mag and...
I have had my BG for months and due to one thing are the other never had chance to take it to the range.. Until today. After buying the BG I check in with this forum most night to see what is going on with the .380. Wasn't to encouraging. So here is the report.
The .380 fired everytime. No...
Its according how I'm dressed, but I carry either the BG380 or the M&P 9C. I have a DeSantis IWD for the BG or drop it into a back pocket. In this case the trigger is a plus. The 9C has a Atlas trigger job and it needs to be in a holster.
My wife doesn't CCW. So any firearm would be at home. Bought her a small pistol. She wasn't really into that one. So sold it and she is now the proud owner of a Model 60.
Ends up on her nightstand every night.
Bought my BG last Monday. Too dang cold right now so haven't fire it yet. I've been checking out this forum and the internet to find out all I could about my new firearm.
I've already broke it down for a cleaning and after the discussion here will do it again and check that screw. However...
Just brought home today my BG. cleaning it tonight. The owners manual tells how to service the laser/batteries. Until they do offer a colored grip and your having trouble with the laser (Are maybe just don't want it) pull the batteries or remove the unit. Leaves a hole where the laser was...
