    Overloading 38sp?

Maybe you should be talking about some on this forum? I think the last time I quit this forum was over some nit picking and maybe the old maids with male accouterments helped the departure. The only Kaboom I have ever had any knowledge of was a supposed factory load in a Glock, but Glocks...

    RCBS Uniflow -Added Baffle-Much Better

I think baffle position is largely dependent on how long your fingers are. I have a couple of baffles that have some spring tension to them. It looks like they are intended to be positioned and then left there when the hopper is emptied. I don't remember the brand, but I think they came from...

    .308 reload

Neck sizing IS fine, until you need to full length resize. You can normally get a few neck resizings before the brass will need to be full length resized for proper fit.

Does the location of lubricant make a difference?

Tumble lubes work just fine at some pretty high velocities. If the bullet fits the throats properly and they do start leading, it will be noticed toward the muzzle. That's where it will start running out of lube. The solution to that situation is to add lube to the exposed lead portion. LLA...

    Which way is up ?........

Actually, it depends on how much column weight you want feeding the adjustable measurer and how often you want to refill the hopper. Many times the powder will dictate the height of the column.

    need some advice with 357

I wouldn't load .357 or any other magnum cartridge on a progressive, unless it's loaded to .38 Special and etc. velocities. However, that may just be me with my distrust of progressives. Even though I have a Hornady LNL AP, I still use a Rock Chucker for high intensity loads.

    .38 spl keyhole?

This what keyhole bullets look like, even at close range. The keyholes were out of a Handi rifle that the bullets were too small and too hard for.

    Overloading 38sp?

If you consider the type of instruments that were used in the development of Plutonium during the early 1940s, I think there was sufficient sophistication for the task at hand. Most are unaware of DuPont using transducers prior to 1965, but DuPont sponsored a team at the University of Michigan...

    Overloading 38sp?

An old 1920s .38 Special was used to work up to .38/44 loads, is there any doubt about that? I really don't know what everyone is so concerned about hot .38s being used in a .38 Special. Surely you aren't suggesting today's guns are less strong than a gun that was barely newer than heat...

    Overloading 38sp?

If the primers or the powder has changed, how do you figure out what loading manual to use? I have powder from the 40s and 50s that aren't even in a manual past the 1960s. Have you ever tried triple based DuPont Number 6 or HiVel No. 2?

    XTreme Plated .44 Bullets

Unique and Universal are very similar to each other and HP38/W231 are the same powders. 8.0 gr of Unique with a 250 gr lead or plated bullet should get you about 950 fps.

    Best hand primer for fatigue.

I forgot to mention the RCBS hand primer I took back to where I bought it from. It was supposed to accept regular shell holders, but mine must have been too old. Most of them wouldn't fit, even with those still in the wrappers! I also used one of the table mount RCBS, it was about like using...

    Original .357 Magnum load (1935)

I've loaded the 358429 for a 6" M28-2 with 15.0 gr of 2400 and had the top of the front driving band level with the case mouth. I clocked them at 1420 fps using CCI SR primers. The original load was using non-canister 2400 according to Phil Sharpe. BBHFarm Gallery :: Complete Guide to...

    A primer question.

Most people don't have any idea about how much pressure primers produce, so here's Speer's take on CCI primer pressures. BBHFarm Gallery :: Speer #7, Speer Inc, 1968 :: aad
