Getting old, thinking of selling my collection

List them here, one at a time. Make fellow members first on the list to buy and re-home. You will get a fair dollar for them and know they went to a good home.

    Opinions requested on Colt M1911's

Thank you one and all for your opinions, observations and recommendations. These in depth replies gave me the information to make an informed purchase. I bought one off GunsAmerica. It is a beauty, made in 1966, pre-70, for what I consider a fair price. Highly polished as one of the comments...

    Opinions requested on Colt M1911's

Thank you everyone for your opinion, advise and pictures. To clarify, I have several 1944 Remington Rands, a Charles Daly and a Tisas gov't., all have a parkerized like finish. What I am in the market for is a beautiful, blued Colt. The pony bit me. It seems, by pictures on GB, the newer Colts...

    Opinions requested on Colt M1911's

I am looking for opinions on the different Colt 1911's offered for sale. I am looking to add a nice blued (not RB) 1911 to my collection. Similar in looks to the WWII M1911 A1. I have seen MKIV series 70's, just series 70's all with different roll marks. Some with flat main spring housing and...

    Model 19 Price Check Please

For $1000.00 I would need the full package, box, tools and paperwork. That's about what I paid for my last two 19-2 with package. Pictures would help but I would say it is a $800 revolver as it stands. IMHO I think the dash 2 has a nicer blue finish that the dash 3 or 4's .

    S&W 19-2

Do the normal revolver checks. Price is more than fair if you like a 6" barrel. A lot of us would have broken our hand pulling out our wallet.

To Tisas Or not to Tisas?

After all the positive reviews and comments, I bought the $299.00 Tisas 1911 Government .45 ACP 5" 7rd Pistol, 1911A1GOVT. I haven't shot it yet but was impressed with the fit and finish, even when PSA says it is cerakote finish. Looks like the price was bumped up twenty bucks. Still a great value.

    Need some opinions/advice Model 39-2

It's a shooter and I assume what you bought it for knowing its condition. I would cold blue it and call it a day. I can't see sinking more money into it just to make it look purty.

Merry Christmas to everyone and me. Just bought a Tisas 1911 Government .45 ACP 5" 7rd Pistol, 1911A1GOVT from PSA for $299.00. Only $19 shipping. Great Deal. Everyone in my FFL's shooting club says it is a great 45, quality and price. Looking forward to getting it and comparing it to the...
