I have a bunch of S&W revolvers but my favorite is my 10-6 HB. With it's load of a 158gr SWC and 3.8gr of Red Dot, it shoots to exactly to point of aim. I will be keeping that revolver until I croak unless my son wants it and I am too old to go shooting.
I have XS big dots on my S&W M&P9c and XDm and Glock factory front night sights with the factory rears on my Glocks. Looking for a front sight for my M&P Full size that would be more precise for me than my big dots on this gun.
I would try fibers or tritium as long as the front sight height...
I am looking for suggestions for a front night sight for my M&P 9mm full size. I want to get one that is the same height as the original one. My gun shoots perfectly with my load and I don't want to change the sight alignment.
I am getting older and the front sight is hard to find at times. I...
I had that problem with my Sigma when I first got it. Result was during the recoil, my thumb was hitting the slide release. I suggest putting your thumb under the slide release, loading one round in the mag, and shooting it that way a few times to see if that is your problem. Hope it works...
Hey Jeekay29. I use the same holster. I make holsters and the size of the big dot compared to the stock front sight is minimal difference. I have never used a Serpa, but the gun fit was perfect with either sight in the Kydex holster that I use.
I have to move the rear sight slightly to the...
I just installed a big dot set on my M&P9c yesterday. Went to the range and put 150 rounds thru the gun after waiting the 2 hrs for the thread locker to set. My M&P9c is my carry and self defense gun. When I practice, I don't shoot it at bulls eyes. I use a plain piece of printer paper at 30...
Pittshooter. MLK18 has the best idea. I make Kydex holsters. You can have just about any holster you want made, but the maker will need the gun and adapter you have chosen to get the proper fit. I have several Sigma pistols, so I would only need the adapter to come up with the proper mold...
Thanks for the reply David, I "think" this must have been a police gun as it some holster wear, but looks like it has been shot very little. The timing and endshake are fine, and the firing pin bushing shows no evidence of many rounds being fired. I pulled the side plate off to check for rust...
Hello, I just picked up a Mod 36 S/N 60J9X. I have looked in my SCSW and can not find a serial number that looks anything like this one. It has grips numbered to the gun and is a round butt with a ramp front sight. Inside the frame where the yoke closes is MOD 36, on the yoke is stamped 67976...
