I have the cheap truglo red dot on my 15-22... it works... I do like that you can change the intensity of the dot, but once you get over level 7 or so the dot is kinda fractured... I use it on setting 3 or 4 and it works for me... I think I paid $45 or so, but the shop I go to is a little...

Ninja, If you remove your compensator to put on a shroud and you are in socal (preferably orange county) I would gladly give you a few bucks for your compensator... just saying... PM me if interested.

Those are in NIB conditions... I'm sure mine's not worth that much. Mine does have a date on the inside of the box as April 15 1955... I don't know if that's the manufacture date or if they printed a bunch of boxes and all of them say that... You guys are making me think I might have...

So is the no dash model 39 worth more? I just got one for a great deal ($150) from a friends dad... It was a police trade in so it's been used a lot and not in mint condition. Just wondering....

It is an older gun, the blue S&W box has a date of April 15th 1955 on the inside of the cover. I'm assuming that's the manufacture date... Here's the problem that I have right now and the reason I started the thread, I don't have the gun or the extractor. The gun is in "lock up" for the 10...
