I love my 40c and it is used to boot. No problem and fits the hand much better than glock ( ok, still have my G17, but G26 is gone ). I wonder if S&W sold the 40C with 9mm barrel & mags plus 357 barrel what would happen? Seems better choice than Sig 250 with all the interchangeable stuff.

Congrats on the purchase. I think the 40C is a great all around gun. Good weight to control the 40, but not too heavy for carry. I like it better than my M&P 45FS or my G17, when I have to grab a gun for the range. I guess it is best to like your carry gun that way. I should get the conversion...

Thanks for giving us this feedback on the conversion barrel. I saw you mentioned the 9 recoil was significant. Can you expand on this? How did it compare to the orginal 40 barrel in recoil and controlability?

I have a Gen3 G17 in addition to several M&Ps ( 40C and 45 ). In my opinion, the G17 is accurate, dirt simple, and relaible ( trust my life that it will go bang when needed ). With this said, its grip is very 2x4 like, not sure if Gen 4 fixes this feel. I prefer the M&P as it does all the above...

Will do. As with all things, it can be operator error. I mainly asked, as I was also shooting my G17 and MP45 at the same time and they were dead on. Generally, my issue is pulling low and left which I have finally cured through better grip and trigger work.

The 45 is very nice and worth the weight. I would really like to see a longer barrel version of the full size 45.

Not sure the weight on the WWB. Need to get the box out of the trash. I assume the WWB would be on lighter side for cost reasons. Maybe that is the reason. This may have been my first box of WW.
