blueknight7 is spot on in his post. Most used 329s have seen next to no range time due to the fact that most guys grab full power 44mag loads and shoot it a bit for the first time and decide to dump them in quick order. What most do not know is that a simple grip change and a little practice...

what is the hole in the 617 underlug filled in with? A screw? Hard to tell from the picture.

I should have mentioned in my previous post that mine wears 500 grips aswell. They are must have in my opinion.

Good move on the pair. I have a six inch now and would take another if the deal was right. A good pre lock 617 is a must have....A pair of them is even better!

I have one also and have not shot it much. I have shot it enough to know it is scary accurate as is. At first I was not a huge fan of the sites but I can not complain....I am able to shoot it well.
