    My Taurus 441 trigger job

Sent my Taurus 441, 3 inch .44 Special, to Teddy Jacobson/Actions by "T", and it came back with an amazing trigger. Before it had a very heavy, 17 1/2 lbs, trigger pull and now it has a smooth 8 3/4 lbs pull. Single action went from 4 1/2 to 3 1/4 and is very crisp. The gun also had a target...

    Can I reduce the weight?

Ralph, you have a great gunsmith near you, Teddy Jacobson, in Sugar Land,TX. He does amazing trigger jobs and you can call him to see what wolf springs he recommends for you. I know for a rimfire revolver, he would use a 1 pound heavier trigger return spring than what he would use in a center...

Useless and Pointless 1911 "Things, Upgrades, and Features"

In the land of a six shot revolver, the 1911 reigns as king, but we are no longer in the land of the 6 gun. Still, I love my Colt 1911 Officer LW and still carry it. I like it mostly stock, just wish it had better modern sights. Only modifications I done to it was a trigger job because it be...

At What Age Does The Grumpy Old Guy Begin

This past Dec, it took me 1 1/2 hours to get from the airport to the old stadium down town and 3 hours to get from the south side of Atl to the northside. That was the worst I ever experienced. I think there were 2 different accidents on I-85 that csused the backup.

    Anyone here USING 3rd gens?

I carry my 6906 a lot. It has been modified by Teddy Jacobson (Actions by T) and I have 7 mags with spare new springs and followers for the mags. I usually carry this gun whenever I wear gym shorts or sweat pants because I have a fanny pack(don't laugh) holster that fits it perfectly. I like how...

    holster belt opening too small

I bought a Tex Shoemaker holster at a gunshow for $20. When I got home and tried to put it on my gun belt, 1 belt openjng was cut too small. I can barely force a thin dress belt through it. What are some ways to enlarge the opening without ruining the holster? I was thinking of using a drill...

    Teddy Jacobson

It had been posted here that Teddy had some health issues, was in the hospital for around 2 months and they thought he was going to die. He then finished his revovery at home. He is now back working on guns. In fact, I just sent him 3(1 full trigger job and then some, and the other 2 for some...

I've used all 3 above. Currently loaded with the CCI Blazer 200 gr Gold Dots. Just love the look of that big cavity. I've seen reports that it expands to .70" in water.
