Bumping this thread to say apparently the viper is back in production. I just ordered one for my .40 core.

Going to pick it up tomorrow morning. The price is pretty good. I have the shield 40 and full size 9. I have a IWB holster for the 9mm so the 40 should fit also. This will be a night stand and range gun so the optic may come in the future. Thanks
