    Barrel marking on 1947 K-22

My K22 "LERK" K1787 has a small s on the barrel flat and a larger S on the left grip frame with no date stamp. My post war .38 special M&P S987XXX has the exact same markings in the same places. K38 "LERK" K4568 does not have an s in either place. I certainly enjoyed having a reason to look at...

    K-38 Masterpiece LERK

After reading a very interesting thread on this forum a few days ago about K-38 revolvers with the large ejector rod knob, I decided to contact David Wilson so that he could add mine to his database. He encouraged me to publish it here. K4568 shows its age with plenty of wear and marks. The...

The label on the box says 17-2. The stocks do not number to the gun (835999). Is it a 17-2 incorrectly stamped or could this be a...

Help with Stocks for a K22 LERK

I picked up a K22 with the large ejector rod knob a few days ago. It has seen plenty of use and has the wrong stocks. I want to find a set that gives it the right appearance. After reading most everything that I can find here I know that it should have the sharp shoulder Magnas. In addition to...

    Models 13 and 58 Together

Glad to see your post W4. I've enjoyed your photos and those in the replies. My model 13 and model 58 were bought together. Here is the photo that the seller used to convince me that I wanted both. Have not been sorry for one second about the purchase.
