I've had a nickel 22-4 for a few years. The action is very nice and the s.a. pull is one of the best I've encountered on a later Smith. I shoot 200 grain H&G 68s at about 850 fps in Auto rim brass. Accuracy is only fair but the gun is really fun to shoot. I love the balance with the 5.5"...

I wouldn't be too harsh on them. Personal and family problems can pull the best of us through a rough knothole and take a long time to get past. Perhaps we should just wish them well.

I bought a nickel plated version 3 or 4 years ago. It's great looking and handles nicely but for some reason mine has not seemed very accurate. I recall Mike Venturino testing one and he was not impressed with the accuracy.

I'm considering selling my 696 dash nothing .44spl 3" but I haven't a clue what to ask. It shows some normal shooting wear and I don't have the box or papers but it's a sweetheart all the same. I just never shoot it anymore.
