This is a pre lock gun and I do not have the original combat grips. If I did then I know it would sell for more. I tried to price it accordingly. I think it is sold anyway if I can get the shipping lined up.

I have an M85 and it works fine. The action is not as slick but it will shoot with the Smith, and it has a lifetime warrenty.

I have the same one Joed49. I changed to a little larger grip and all is great now!!

This is one of my 629-1 3 inchers that I have owned for almost 20 years and it has never been fired. I still have the box it came in. What kind of value does it have? A S&W rep told me that it was run for Elliot brothers in Texas. anyone know about that?

Thanks for the help guys. I actually called the Horton factory and spoke to a rep today. The ALD serial number is a 1 of 5000 Horton. A S&W rep told me the BBA serial number was run in 1988 for the Elliot Brothers. Any help on that???

They are both SS 3" RB. The ALD one is ported and the other is not. I have both boxes but neither one says Horton on it but I don't know if it should.
