They are still in the box! Never got around to installing them. I'm pretty sure I'll have to use a different holster when I do switch to the XS Big Dots.

It also has to do where you're LGS is on their distributor's waiting list......... BTW, despite the previous post, it is worth the wait.

My rear site came out with only a few taps. Full DCAEK installed, with the factory reset being what it is, I saw no need to install the RAM. I do wish they would hurry up and release the AEK trigger for the Shield though, Randy?

I have them on my M&P 9FS and love them. No change in POA vs POI for me. Now if the would come out for the Shield :(

Thanks for posting. Mine came in last week, and have not had them installed yet. I hope I like them. I have a custom fit leather IWB (McCabes Custom Leather), and it fits pretty tight and I'm a little concerned about the little extra height of the front big dot.

You could also try changing only the spring first.

From top to bottom. If you're not changing the pin, don't drift it all the way out.

The one listed on Numrich's site did not specify the 39-2, however I ordered it any way just see which they sent, it was the 39-2. I talked with a local collector/smith of the 39-2 about changing it for me, he assured me that it did not need to be fitted. Took about 10 minutes, and now over 500...

The Shield does not have interchangeable back straps, fixed.

I have about 1500 rounds through my M&P 9fs since adding them and still good as new. Purchased and installed about 3months ago.

Uplula works great. The 8rd works fine, the 7rd not so much. I have to work so hard to get #7 in that I sometimes leave it out. I'm going to give it some time to see if it works itself out, if it doesn't I'll look into modifying the follower some..

My LGS charged $25 for my 9fs. I did the DCAEK on my Shield, then did the RAM on my 9fs. It is not hard at all, just watch Randy's videos. I was most stressed drifting the rear sight out but after doing it, it's no big deal.
