    M&P Bodyguard most reliable ammunition?

I've used Remington, Magtec, and Fiochi in FMJ, and Hornady Critical Defense. To date I haven't had any issues.

Opinions on MagGuts BG380 & Shield

Good morning and Happy New Year Just looking for opinions and experiences from people that have used MagGuts in their BG 380 and Shield. Are there any issues, or do they work as well as the factory mags? Thanks

Is your better half for or against conceal carry ?

My wife and I have had guns in the house for years but I never carried or got a license. We each had our own guns and we'd go shooting every once in a while. With events that have been taking place I finally decided to get my CHL over a year ago. She didn't care either way at first, but a few...

    Opinions on concealed carry holsters

I tried IWB for a while but never could get comfortable with it. I also didn't want to have to wear pants 2 sizes too big to carry it especially with my skinny legs. I've settled on a leather pancake style OWB for pretty much all my guns. For my Shield I use a DeSantis speed scabbard. Like...

    Wife's New Bodyguard

My BG cycles the Hornady CD just fine. So far I haven't fired anything that hasn't cycled thru it, but I've never fired any Winchester WB thru it either. I also had a TCP before getting the BG. I never got comfortable with the TCP. On top of that, after about 100 rounds, the TCP I had started...

    Wait or Buy Bodyguard .380.

I bought an M&P BG380 early this year. So far I haven't had a single problem. I've run over 300 rounds of various FMJ and about 50 rounds of Hornady CD so far without a hitch. It has a long trigger pull but I found it to be more comfortable to shoot and more accurate I expected for a small gun.

Well I done went and did it

Congrats. I just bought a Shield 9 myself yesterday and put about 100 rounds thru it. After shooting it, I could only ask myself why I hadn't gotten it sooner. I was really impressed with it. I didn't get to shoot today but I plan on running another couple of boxes thru it tomorrow. Enjoy

    Bodyguard 380 no laser

I've had the BG380 for about a year now with probably 300 rounds of FMJ and HP thru it so far. I haven't had any issue with it at all, and it's been my EDC. It's been very reliable for me. I just bought a Shield 9 today and will probably make it my EDC for moderate weather, but I'll most likely...

    Finally bought a Shield

I finally "pulled the trigger" and bought a Shield 9 this morning. After a thorough disassembly, cleaning, and light oiling, I put about 100 various FMJ factory loads and Hornady Critical Defense rounds thru it. All I can say is wow, why didn't I get one sooner. It's my first striker fire...

    Bodyguard for Pocket Carry?

I've had a BG 380 for a while now, and I've had no issues with it. The only ammo I've used so far has been Magtec and Remington FMJ, and Hornady Critical Defense for a total of about 300 rounds. The trigger is long but I find it smooth, and it's not nearly as snappy as I expected it to be...

Looking for a hand gun for my wife...suggestions wanted

My wife picked a 32 revolver years ago when I first started getting into handguns. She is extremely accurate with it and it doesn't beat her up. We go shooting together from time to time. She's never been comfortable shooting anything higher powered, and has a hard time racking a slide due to...

Opinions - Bodyguard 380 as EDC with safety off

Thanks to everyone for your replies. That's pretty much the same feelings I had, but I wanted to get the opinion of others that have had experience with this gun. Thanks again

Opinions - Bodyguard 380 as EDC with safety off

I bought a BG380 a few months ago and it has functioned flawlessly. I've made it my EDC in a Tucker leather pancake holster. I've been carrying with the safety engaged, but with the trigger pull I've thought about carrying with the safety off even though it doesn't have a trigger safety. I don't...

    No problems with new BG380

I got a BG380 a few months ago and I haven't had any problems with it at all. I ran 3 boxes of fmj from Magtec and Remington, and a box of Hornaday Critical Defense without a single failure in the first couple of weeks after I got it. It's now my daily CCW. From what I've read maybe I got lucky...
