Just picked one up and have yet to shoot it. I've read and watched plenty reviews on the Bodyguard, only knock I've learned is it can be finnicky with igniting the primer on some ammo, so just curious what ammo seems to run the best out of the BG?

There is probably enough gun-to-gun variation that you should try several different brands of .380 and see which one works best in your gun. Fortunately .380 of various bullet types and weights are available currently.

I have run Winchester white box, Remington, Sig and Hornady with absolutely no Issues. So far so good !!

Mine runs fine on all brands of FMJ. Defense HP I've tried are HPR 90 grain and the 102 grain brand I cannot recall but they both fed reliably, no problems what so ever.

IMO any main stream ammo should work perfectly. A defensive gun should not be "picky". I don't consider eastern bloc or steel-case ammo "main stream".

I've used Remington, Magtec, and Fiochi in FMJ, and Hornady Critical Defense. To date I haven't had any issues.

Mine didn't like Fiocchi APHP 90gr. Had two out of twelve that didn't 'ignite'.

the only ammo I have had a problem igniting primer is Fiocchi, which is really disappointing as it is excellent .380 ammo. Some report no problems with Fiocchi. One more thing to check is the ability of your Body Guard to eject a live round. I have found at least one brand of ammo that consistently jams when trying to eject live round.

best ammo

I have one of the older BG380s and I've run everything through it. In the beginning I had an issue with it but the gunsmith at the local gun shop I bought it from polished the feeding ramp and barrel and it's functioned flawlessly after that. For defense purposed a person at the gun store said he carried and used CorBon Powr'Ball ammo. It is a hollow point but the cavity is filled in with some polymer substance and that aids in preventing any jams which you might get in some guns when trying to use hollow points. Guys, the OP must've gotten the answer he wanted, as he didn't reply to his post from a year ago :).
