I JUST picked up a new to me Model 36 2"bbl. The logo and lettering on the barrel is gold and I am wondering how this was done. Also, serial number is 498xxx Thanks for any info! Signey

I just picked up a Model 36 ser. #498XXX. Can someone tell me about when it was shipped? Also, the logo and and barrel markings are gold colored...is this something done by previous owner?

Yes Chad, those are the ones on my gun as well. Too short for me though...so will try the Sile grips.

OK Just bought some Sile combat-type rubber grips...will give me a little more to hang on to lol Thanks for your help!

I have a Model 637-2 that was a gift. It has uncle Mikes grips on it currently and I would like to get the correct grips for it. Serial number CHJ5XXX. Thanks!

On the piece that swings out with the cylinder (forgive my ignorance!) is the serial number 494XX. On the butt is the M494XX
