yet anouther + for the SW40VE serries (which I am told is pretty sim to the SD's). Had it for a year or so now and over a thousands rounds... no problems with any ammo except the CCI shot shells, they just dont have enough power to cycle. I even shoot reloads with no problems.

thanks for the suggestion. it is my spare mag now so I am not in any great hurry, but i like the idea of seeing if SW will go cheap for me. Hell, its small enough to put in a regualr mailing envelope.

If you are going to buy anything more then $100 spend some time on the net. An hrs worth of research will let you know everything you want to know about what ever it is. Some people are just plain idiots and see something that is priced low in a gun shop and buy it with out knowing anything...

Ok, while disassembling a magazine (btw thanks to everyone for the little trick with a 15rd 40F magazine instead of a 14rd VE) I let the spring jump in my hand and sling shot the little base plate lock someplace. I hate to order one online as the shipping is going to be more then the cost of it...

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I actauly LIKE the trigger on sigmas. As far as I can figure, if you can learn to shoot properly with a sigma with a 14lb trigger then you will be able to shoot with anything that you pick up. My newest exercise involves my new TDR911 laser and dry...

dont forget the TDR911 guys. They dont have a 'light' exactly but the laser/led set up is pretty good in the dark. The lights are bright enough to light up anything for 25' in the dark and its low profile enough to fit in a lot of holsters. Auto-Laser Handgun Laser Sighting System

I really dont think there is. I mean I understand exactly why it isnt done, but I would think that someone someone would be able to figure out how to do it...

Any work being done on a truely modular system? Pure mix and match of everything. 3 or 4 differnt grips, a few differnt actions, a dozen barrel lengths, full set of caliber changes... Just thought it would be kind of intersting to have the same action for your everyday cary revolver changed...

Looking at getting a Governor (Yes, I know its no good at 100yds...I want it for 5yds). I just want to add my support for a full 3" chamber on a newer model. You can never go wrong with more choices of ammo.

I have to add that it is deffinatly not a problem with the gun type. I am a new shooter and half decent at best, but I still keep everything on the paper at 25 to 50ft.
