    1917 half moon clips

Moon Clip Tool Don't forget this little gizmo. You don't need it to load the clips, but it makes it a lot easier and faster to remove the empties.

    Lets talk about J-Frame Grips......

Hogue Bantams are bitchin' Dead tree grips are real purdy and all, but if you want something durable, comfortable, and concealable, you can't go wrong with a pair of Hogue Bantams for your round butt J-framer.

    What am I missing?

A software problem? There is nothing special about the gun. It would have been mentioned in the description. My guess is that it's a $500 gun that got 3 bids. Gunbroker screwed up the listing.

    NRA Convention - S&W - Model 43C

It's a freakin' Easter Egg... If you type "43C" into the search window on the S&W site, you get "629 Mountain Gun" displayed below. Click on those words and you get a full page spec sheet on the 43C that shows a launch date of March 2010. Sheesh.

    S&W Model 430...Need Info

Hi, I'm trying to find some information on the model 430. It was made a few years back but is now discontinued. It was an Airweight J-frame in .32 S&W Long. It may have been a contemporary of the 431 PD, which was produced around 2005 in .32 H&R Mag. Here are some pics: Thanks...

    I frame grips

Thanks Jim, Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of another Improved version. George

    I frame grips

Are you sure about I's being shorter? Gentlemen, I recently acquired a mid-fifties .32 hand ejector, presumably an Improved I-frame gun. The original grips were nice, but I wanted rubber ones for daily carry, so I ordered a pair of Hogue J-frame Bantams. I figured I could trim the excess. To...

Great info Ken. Thanks. My gun looks just like picture #1, except for the short barrel. George

Bought it. Like it. What is it?

Thanks for your help, Mr. Taylor. Nothing on the yoke other than a serial number. Do you know if it is an I or J frame? George

Bought it. Like it. What is it?

I just picked up a snub-nose round butt in .32 S&W Long. It has 3 screws, pinned barrel, non-recessed cylinder, a semi-flat latch and no model designation that I can find. The paperwork says it is a Model 30, but I think it could be a -1 model. The serial number is 6429xx. The gun was...
