There is a lot of info on ammo so I'd like to add my 2cents. No matter the brand it can be reviewed by 1- expansion
2- penetration in ballistic gel (12-14") recommended!
Any comments :)
I bought a Kimber .45 custom classic when they first came out in 1994. Changed the front sight to "Ashley bigdot" and stay horn grips. T service s me well but my new favorite is Sig P320sc. Support NRA to protect our

Proper safe handling is key to enjoying any. firearm what ever the make. In a good holster for concealed carry finger off trigger is key until on target . This applies to my little group - Colt mustang plus II .380, S/W 3913 9mms, Sig P320sc 9mms. Never a AD and just plain delight to...
.380 pocket carry
For safety use a pocket holster. I carry Colt .380 Mustang Plus II in a pocket holster and have done so for years. It draws easy while leaving holster in the pockt. That's just my take on it

I'm looking for extra magazines for my 9mm S&W semi auto model 3913 and would appreciate pointing me in the right direction. Also my cleaning supplies are ancient and would like suggestions for cleaning & lube brands. Possibly a cleaner & lube all in one?
I sometimes carry my Colt Mustang Plus II which is a .380 holstered in my front jean pocket. Ammo is Remington Golden Saber JHP. I have qualified for last several years for yearly CCW license qualifications. I alternate between that and my S&W 9mm semi auto Model # 3919 for
CCW. I have never...
S&W 3913
I bought it new in the 90s for my wife she used it a few times and than I decided to make it my CCW. Research had great reviews on it and I'm sorry S&W stopped making this model. I have 2 holsters for it, One is a Crossbreed(IWB) and the other is a custom Andrews Leather (Florida)...
I am seeking info from anyone out there on my S&W 3913. It was purchased new in Jan 1994 and has only been shot approximately 200 times. Recently I decided to use it for CCW. I did a complete cleaning and lubing. It seems very tight and stiff to rack the slide. Could that be from inactivity or...
Selected Andrews Leather (saddle style) for my 3913. After 2 month wait it came and was worth the wait. Craftsmanship excellent in every way. Gun retention very good and I would recommend Sam Andrews work any day. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Thanks again to "novalty" for your advice.
We all know politicos see themselves as above the people. If they don't get their way they BULLY in anyway they can. Name calling the NRA just proves that point.
:confused:I wondered if I could get some opinions from the forum on the best ammo and why for self defense. I have a S&W 3913 9mm and have been overwhelmed with all the different info on the internet. Coming to the S&W Forum seemed most appropriate since that is my gun.
Thanks
