Is the trigger stop on the 327 PC 2 inch snub adjustable? Additionally, is it susceptible to backing out and making the trigger stop short of a full stroke to fire? Should these be removed from a gun intended for self defense, and if so, how are they removed? Thanks in advance!
I ordered some m pro 7 ammonia free gun cleaner. I seem to recall the S&W customer service guy mentioning it. I’ll give it a go. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know!
So far I’ve just used gun oil and a nylon brush but I’m looking for something more effective for the charge holes. I’m not too worried about burn rings as I don’t clean those off my stainless cylinders either.
Is the 686 a 7 shot or 6 shot? Strictly speaking, as a defensive gun (not considering value) I’d rather have 7 shots over 6. If they are both 6 shot then there’s no reason whatsoever to make the trade.
I would shoot the 631 and see if you like it. The recoil will be low and gel tests show the Hornady FTX 32 H&R Magnum performs well. If you are worried about it being dirty, etc, just take it to a gun shop and ask them if it looks fit to shoot. Post some pics here and folks may be able to tell...
Last I checked, PrecisionOne had Wadcutters in stock for a reasonable price. They are a small outfit but all the ammo I’ve tried from them was good. Their Wadcutter is actually FMJ as well and they also have a very low recoil 125 grain fmj available.
